Workshop Solutions completes major project for RRG group
Workshop Solutions, part of the Junair Group of Companies, has completed a major work- shop fit-out for the RRG Group at its Lexus Bolton dealership. The new-build project at the Bolton site is part of an ongoing £2 million development programme by RRG, which includes an investment of £90,000 in the fit-out. The contract for the Lexus Bolton workshop was the latest in a series awarded to Workshop Solutions by RRG for the provision of equipment and services across the group’s dealerships in the North West.
Workshop Solutions, the UK’s sole distributor for AUTOP inground and surface-mounted lifts as well as Ravaglioli surface-mounted lifts, vehicle diagnostics, MOT and test lane equipment, completed the workshop installation at the Bury Road dealership within one month.
The company supplied and installed seven AUTOP inground lifts made up of
five conventional type and two arm type (for SUV vehicle) lifts, Class IV MOT bay equipment, wheel alignment equipment, special tools, an underfloor exhaust extraction system and Dura technician tool chests, oil dispensing and work benches.
Workshop Solutions has also been awarded maintenance contracts at eight
RRG dealerships on MOT bays, vehicle lifts, compressors, tyre and wheel
balancing equipment.
Commenting on the day of the official opening of the new workshop, Mike Bates, director for Workshop Solutions, said: “Naturally, we are delighted to have been so heavily involved in the development of what is a really impressive facility. RRG has been a customer of ours for almost 20 years, which says a great deal about the quality of the equipment we
provide and the professionalism of our people.”
The RRG Group, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary, also operates Peugeot and Mazda franchises and is the biggest Toyota dealership in Europe.
