Workshop Solutions installs first swivel-headed AUTOP motorcycle lifts at Vines Group site
Workshop Solutions, part of the Junair Group of Companies, has completed a major half-million pound workshop fit-out for Vines Group’s BMW dealership in Guildford - one of the largest car and motorcycle workshops in the country and has installed the very first swivel-headed motorcycle AUTOP SA1.35 Sololifts in the UK.
Workshop Solutions, the UK’s sole distributor for AUTOP lifts, furnished the new site with eight Sololifts, which enable technicians to pivot motorcycles 360 degrees - the latest in diagnostic equipment. Workshop Solutions director, Mike Bates commented: “The new motorcycle lifts are industry-leading and we are delighted to introduce them at the state-of-the-art Vines site – an ideal launchpad for their debut in the UK.”
The new BMW Vines workshop facility was project managed by the Workshop Soloutions team, which refitted the 20-bay BMW service, repair and aftercare car workshop and 9-bay Motorrad motorcycle workshop, working in tandem with building contractor, Talbot Construction in the design and build of the centre, from conception to completion. The Workshop team also installed an AUTOP inground Class IV automated MOT test lane and Tecalemit motorcycle lane with direct and interactive links to VOSA.
